7 persons travelling on rooftop of bus electrocuted

Seven persons, who were travelling on rooftop of a bus, were electrocuted today after they came in contact with a live wire in Dungarpur district of Rajasthan, police said.

The bus was on its way to Dungerpur from Ahmedabad when the incident occurred, District Collector Indrajeet said.

The injured were admitted to a local hospital where their condition is said to be stable, he said.

A case has been registered against the bus driver and the vehicle was seized, police added.
