77-yr-old man dies after jumping off 8th floor of HC building

: A septuagenarian died today after he jumped off the eighth floor of the Kerala High Court building here, police said.

They said the man, identified as one Johnson (77) from Kollam district, jumped off the parapet on the eighth floor at around 12 noon.

The man had reportedly come to meet a lawyer in connection with a case and his name had been entered in the register.

Johnson was rushed to the General Hospital, Ernakulam, but was declared brought dead, police said.

The case was being treated as one of suicide and a probe is on, police said.
