8 ASIs, 17 Head Constables promoted

The Jammu and Kashmir Police today promoted eight Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) to the rank of Sub-Inspectors.

Seventeen Head Constables were also promoted to the rank of ASIs, an official spokesman said.

The Departmental Promotion Committee granted in-situ promotions to 18 other officers, he said.
