8 injured in clash between two groups

Eight people were injured in a clash that broke out over a minor dispute between two communities at Sikanderpur village here, police said today.

The violence erupted after a tractor collided with a buffalo cart belonging to a member of a different community, SP (City) Santosh Mishra said.

The incident led to stone pelting in which 8 persons were injured. Two of them were taken to hospital, he said.

Police said the situation has been brought under control.
