8 injured in road accident

Eight persons, including five women, were today injured when their van in which they were travelling collided with another vehicle on a highway in Hindoli area of the district.

"The injured were taken to community health centre Hindoli where they are undergoing treatment," Assistant sub inspector Ashok Parihar said, adding that, three of them were referred in a critical state to the district government hospital.

All the injured were residents of Gudagokulpura village of Bundi district and identified as Hansraj, Tulsiram, Mulchand, Chotibai, Lodakibai, Parvatibai, Sakaribai and Jamanabai, he said.

A case has been lodged and probe is on in the matter, he said.
