8 kg ganja seized

kg of ganja, valued at around Rs 8 lakh, and arrested two persons from Bihar's Rohtas district.

During vehicle check up at National Highway 2 near Bhedia village police searched a four-wheeler Sport Utility Vechicle and seized 8 kg ganja, Superintendent of Police Manu Mahajan said.

Two persons on board the vehicle were arrested, he added. They hailed from Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh.

During inquiry those held said they had brought the contraband from Odisha to Allahabad for sale, the SP said.
