8 killed, 4 injured in road mishap

Eight persons were today killed and four others injured when a jeep in which they were travelling collided with a truck in Nagaur district, an official said.

The incident occurred at Mandawara near the Kuchaman city.

Six persons died on the spot while two died on way to the hospital, Sub Division Officer (Nawan) Satyajeet Singh said.

The deceased included two women and two children, he said.

Three critically injured have been referred to Ajmer.
