8 killed in road accident in Pakistan

At least eight members from the same family, including three children, were killed today when a pickup van they were travelling in fell in a deep ravine in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Agency.

Three persons were critically injured, including two children, and they were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital from where they were moved to another hospital here.

Five women and three children were killed in the accident, police said.

The van skidded off the mountain after the driver lost control over it.
