An eight-month-pregnant woman and her husband committed suicide at Mandi Dhanaura in the district today.
Shashi (24) of Gandhi Nagar locality, allegedly consumed poison. Seeing Shashi dead, her husband Sonu (27) shot himself with his pistol, Circle Officer Dhanora Nishank Sharma said.
He died on way to hospital, he said.
Sharma said it seemed that the incident took place after a dispute between the couple.
No FIR has been lodged by the couple's family yet.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem and investigation is happening, he said.
