8 students injured in school bus-lorry collision

In yet another accident involving school vehicles in the state, eight students were today injured when a school bus collided with a lorry at Memari in Burdwan district.

Police said the injured were admitted to a hospital at Memari. The lorry driver absconded leaving behind the vehicle that has been seized.

Eight persons were injured yesterday when a school bus dashed against a road divider in Kolkata.

On Friday last, the driver of a pool car died and 11 students sustained minor injuries after the vehicle hit a pillar in another area of Kolkata.
