8-year-old girl sexually abused, accused arrested

An eight-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused by a man at Garfa in the southern part of the city, police said.

Manoj Das, working as a mason, was arrested today from South 24-Parganas district here.

The incident occurred yesterday when Das abused the minor girl in the house where he was employed, police said, adding the matter came to light when the girl revealed about the incident to her parents.
