8-yr-old boy dies accidentally during b'day celebrations

An eight-year-old boy died accidentally during his birthday celebrations in sector 58 area here, police said today.

"Omvati, the mother of deceased Priyanshu, has lodged an FIR that her 8-year-old son's birthday celebrations were going on at her house last night. During the party, her brothers Sonu and Vijay Dharam had also joined the party," police said.

"After having liquor, her brothers started heated arguments with her husband and tried to hit her husband with a stick. Accidentally, the stick hit the head of her son Priyanshu," they said.

Priyanshu was rushed to district hospital but declared brought dead, they said.
 

An FIR has been lodged against three accused and a probe was on in the matter, police said.
