80-yr-old hacked to death

An elderly person was hacked to death in Kritmalpur Ahirauli village in Vardah area here, police said today.

Ishtiyaq alias Chutkan (80) was killed last night by some unidentified persons when he was sleeping outside his house, they said.

The body of the victim has been sent for postmortem and a probe is on, they said.

No arrests have been made so far.
