A 82-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by unidentified persons who also looted cash and jewellery from her house, police said.
The deceased identified as Parsni Devi was a resident of Anandpur Tanki and was residing alone in her house.
According to SSP Rakesh Kaushal, police has registered a case and further investigations were under progress.
The value of the looted items is yet to be ascertained, he said.
