84 bottles of foreign liquor seized in Guwahati, one arrested

Eighty-four bottles of foreign liquor were seized today in connection with violation of modal code of conduct in the state capital.

According to an official, a person was carrying seven cases of foreign liquor when he was apprehended in Khanapara at the entry point of Guwahati.

Police and state excise departments are now carrying out further investigation into the alleged links of the accused with political parties.
