88.97 kg silver worth Rs 50 lakh seized, 4 held

The Economic Offence Wing today seized 88.97 kg silver from the Patna junction here and arrested four persons, a police official said.

Acting on a tip off, the EOW sleuths laid a trap and arrested four persons in possession of the haul of silver worth Rs 50 lakh, the EOW IG Praveen Vashisth said.

These people had brought the silver from Agra by train to sell it to local jewellers, he added.
