9 children fall ill after mid-day meal in school

The children reported sickness soon after consuming the food served to them by the school and were rushed to Sadar hospital for treatment, Block Education Officer Devendra Bahadur Mathur said.

The attending doctors have referred two seriously sick children to Varanasi for treatment, he said.

A probe has been ordered into the incident, he added.
