9 injured as Army truck overturns in HP

Nine people, including eight jawans, sustained serious injuries as an Army truck overturned in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district on Sunday evening, police said.

The driver apparently lost control over the vehicle and hit a bike before turning turtle in Shahpur area, a police officer said.

The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital, the officer said, adding that the jawans were later shifted to the Army hospital in Palampur.
