A total of 99 war widows and distressed ex-service men were today felicitated by the Sikh Regimental Centre and the Punjab Regimental Centre at a the ex-servicemen rally here.
Brigadier BKB Keshab, commandant of the Sikh Regimental Centre and Brigadier GPS Sisodia, commandant of the the Punjab Regimental Centre attended the event.
Brigadier BKB Keshab said that the aim of the rally was to reach out to war widows and ex-servicemen and their families to provide them facilities honourably.

As a gesture of 'We care', a total of 99 war widows (veer naris-brave women) and distressed ex-servicemen were felicitated on the occasion.
During the rally grievances of each and every ex-service man and veteran was noted for further course of action with the authorities concerned.
A medical check up camp was also organised.
