A 17-year-old youth was arrested for sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl in the city's Behala area today.
The crime took place inside the local office of a political party, the police said.
The youth was arrested on the basis of a police complaint made by the parents of the girl.
The police has a launched an investigation into the incident.
