Aamkona village in J'khand declared Open Defecation Free

Aamkona village under Moglabandh panchayat in Pakuria block of Pakur district has been declared Open Defecation Free (ODF) village today.

Village mukhia Karuna Hembram made the announcement in the presence of Deputy Commissioner A Muthu Kumar, Sub-Divisional Officer Arvind Kumar Lal and Executive Engineer of PHED Ram Bihari Singh and District Coordinator of Swach Bharat Mission Suman Kumar Mishra.

Praising the efforts of villagers, the DC suggested them to use toilets.
