Absconder arrested after a decade in Udhampur

An absconder, involved in various cases of crimes, and was on the run for over a decade, was arrested from Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.

Maphu, resident of Omala in Udhampur, was arrested last evening, police said.

He was evading arrest for more than a decade after being convicted in a number of cases, they said.
