A senior police officer was here today caught red-handed while allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 10,000, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials said.
Assistant Commissioner of Police, Baba Dongre attached to Panchpaoli area was trapped in his office for allegedly demanding and accepting Rs 10,000 as bribe from an offender by not doing preventive arrest as favour, Additional SP, Nagpur ACB, Sanjay Purandare, told PTI.
Dongre will be arrested under relevant sections of Prevention of Corruption Act, Purandare added.
