Acting is like therapy: Idris Elba

"Luther" star Idris Elba says shooting TV shows or films is like "therapy" for him.

The 43-year-old, who recently split from girlfriend after almost three years of dating, said his life becomes sad when he is not acting, reported Female First.

"Therapy is a good way to cleanse... When I'm not acting is when my life (becomes sad). It's really interesting.

"I'm going through this crap now because I'm not on a film set. Had I been on a set I wouldn't even have noticed. Probably.
