Admiral RK Dhowan in Vizag on farewell visit to ENC

Navy Chief Admiral R K Dhowan today arrived here on a two-day farewell visit to the city-based Eastern Naval Command (ENC).

He was accompanied by his wife Minu Dhowan, president, Naval Wives Welfare Association(NWWA), a Naval release said.

On arrival, Dhowan was received by Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, ENC, Vice Admiral HCS Bisht, with a Guard of Honour at INS Dega, it added.

During his stay, the Admiral will interact with officers, sailors and defence civilians of ENC, it said.

Admiral Dhowan is retiring on May 31.
