Advocates writes to President

A group of advocates of the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court today urged President Pranab Mukherjee to hold discussions with the legal experts and retired Chief Justices and Supreme Court to take action against facist forces.

In a memorandum to the President, they condemned the series of incidents including Dadri incident and attack on Observer and Research Foundation chief Sudheendra Kulkarni.

When the Government was "indifferent" to such facist forces, the President could consult the Supreme Court and other legal experts and take proper action.
