Aged couple commits suicide

An elderly couple allegedly committed suicide by consuming insecticide in their house at Malkapet in Rajanna Sircilla district Wednesday, police said.

Devaiah (70) and his wife Rajavva (60) were found lying dead on the floor, the police said.

The reason behind the two taking the extreme step was yet to be ascertained, they said.
