India would host the second India-Central Asia Dialogue and its agenda was under preparation, the government informed Parliament on Thursday.
In a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said, "At the first India-Central Asia Dialogue...it was announced that the second India-Central Asia Dialogue will be held in India in 2020. The dates for the second India-Central Asia Dialogue with the participation of Afghanistan are to be finalised for which all the concerned countries are being consulted."
The agenda for the second India-Central Asia Dialogue was under preparation, he added.
The first India-Central Asia Dialogue was held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan on January 12-13 last year. It saw the participation of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
