Agreements signed between Engineering College and Industries

As part of its Corporate Connect Initiative, a city based private engineering college has entered into MOUs with four leading industries today.

The MOUs were signed by Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET) with Power Engineering and Auomation, Bengaluru, Hetrogenous Communication Technologies, Chennai, Innovatus Systems, Coimbatore and Association of Consulting Civil Engineering (Indian), Coimbatore chapter, he said.

Under the agreements, the industries would take engineering graduates as interns for project training and involve them in innovation and consultancy services for the benefit of the industries, Dr S Annadurai, Principal, SKCET said here.

The training would facilitate students to have internships and campus placements, Annadurai said, adding, the agreement will explore the possibilities to jointly bring out useful and relevant documentation, publications and reports for mutual benefits.
 

Innovatus systems has taken four interns on project training, Power Engineering two engineers as interns, while the other two have shortlisted the candidates to impart training in their respective field, he said.
