Agriculture development fair inaugurated

An agriculture development fair was inaugurated by West Bengal Agriculture Minister Purnendu Bose here today.

Exhibition and workshop on how to use modern techniques in traditional agriculture would be held during the three-day fair, Bose said.

He urged the CII, which helped the agriculture department in organising the fair, to take more responsibility in developing the agriculture of the state.

The minister also stressed on producing pulses and oilseeds in the state.
