AI plane on Aizawl-Kolkata route grounded

An Air India Airbus 319 aircraft carrying 127 passengers on the Aizawl-Kolkata route was grounded after a technical problem in one of its engines.

The flight 713 had arrived in Aizawl yesterday and was to return to Kolkata, Air India sources said.

Air India engineers reached Aizawl today and repair work is on, they said.
