Air Force personnel commits suicide in Punjab

An Air Force personnel allegedly committed suicide today by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his residence here, police said.

The deceased, identified as Surinder Kumar, was posted as Naik Engineer at the Air Force Station in Pathankot, police said.

Kumar was alone in his house when he took the extreme step.

Police have registered a case and investigation is underway.
