Akola hottest in Vidarbha at 45 degrees Celsius

At 45 degrees Celsius, Akola today recorded the highest temperature in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra for the second day in a row, the Regional Meteorology Centre said.
It was the season's highest temperature for the city which had recorded a high of 44.7 degrees Celsius yesterday.
Wardha recorded a maximum of 44.9 degrees Celsius against yesterday's high of 44 degrees Celsius.

Nagpur, which had a cloudy sky throughout the day, recorded high of 43.6 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperatures recorded in other major cities in Vidabha are Amravati 43.4 degrees Celsius, Chandrapur 43.6 degrees Celsius, Gondia 42.2 degrees Celsius, Washim 41.6 degrees Celsius and Yavatmal 43.5 degrees Celsius.
