Actress Alison Sweeney is quiting her role as the host on the reality television show "The Biggest Loser".
The 38-year-old actress, best known for her portrayal of Samantha 'Sami' Brady on "Days of Our Lives", has bid adieu to the show after hosting it for eight years, reported Entertainment Weekly.
"After an incredible run together, Alison Sweeney will not be returning as host of 'The Biggest Loser' next season," the show's producers said.

Sweeney hosted the show since season four in 2007, which features obese people competing to win a cash prize by losing the highest percentage of weight relative to their initial weight.
Her next project, "Love on the Air", premieres on September 26, where Sweeney also serves as an executive producer.
