Alkesh Sharma appointed CEO, MD of DMICDC

IAS officer Alkesh Sharma was today appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC), an ambitious infrastructure programme.

Sharma, a 1990-batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre, has been appointed to the post for three years, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training said.

The officer is at present working in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

The Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor is aimed at developing new industrial cities as 'smart cities' and converging next generation technologies across infrastructure sectors.
