The concept of sustainable development goals and its implementation in Assam was today discussed at a conclave here.
"Since SDGs encompass everyone, so all of us need to be involved in it to achieve its goal", Assam Chief Secretary V K Pipersenia said while inaugurating the divisional conclave on sustainable development goals.
The conclave was organised by divisional commissioner, lower Assam division in collaboration with Transformation & Development Department, deputy commissioner of Kamrup Metropolitan District, Centre for Sustainable Development Goals and Assam Administrative Staff College.
Divisional Commissioner, LAD, Ahmed Hussain, Additional Chief Secretary Tranformation and Development Department K V Eapen, DC Kamrup (M) Dr M Angamuthu, were among the other speakers.
