Logistics firm Allcargo today said it has appointed Adarsh Hegde as Joint Managing Director.
"Allcargo Logistics Ltd...A part of the Avvashya group, today announced that Adarsh Hegde has been elevated as the Joint Managing Director with effect from July, 1 2016," the company said in a statement.
Hegde has been with the company since its inception in 1993 and has played a key role in Allcargo's growth story.
Allcargo founder and Chairman Shashi Kiran Shetty said, "Adarsh's aptitude and contributions have been invaluable to the Allcargo growth journey."
As the Joint MD, Hegde will oversee the business of container freight services and container depot facilities, project forwarding and engineering solutions, E-commerce logistics, coastal shipping and contract logistics.
In addition, he will continue to play a key role in overall group governance and business development.
Allcargo Logistics offers specialised services across multimodal transport operations, container freight station operations, coastal shipping services with five owned and operated ships and project & engineering solutions.
