Almond, its kernel remain weak on sluggish demand

Prices of almond and its kernel fell further in the national capital today on sluggish demand against sufficient supplies.

Traders said subdued demand against sufficient supplies kept pressure on almond and its kernel prices.

Almond (California) prices fell by another Rs 100 to Rs 18,400 per 40 kg and its kernel rates shed another Rs 5 to Rs 640-665 per kg.

Almond (California) Rs 18,400 Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 8,000-8,300; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 4,400-4,700; Abjosh Afghani Rs 8,000-22,000.

Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 640-665 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 500-550 per kg.
