Alstom India today reported 46 per cent decline in its net profit at Rs 8.05 crore for the April-June quarter as compared to the same period a year ago.
The company's net profit was Rs 14.99 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2014, Alstom India said in BSE filing.
The total income too declined to Rs 426.35 crore in the quarter under review as compared to Rs 470.83 crore in the same period a year ago.

In a separate filing, the company said that the Board of Directors has approved the re-appointment of Vice Chairman and Managing Director Patrick Ledermann for a period of one year with effect from October 1, 2015, subject to approvals.
Shares of the company today rose 1.33 per cent to settle at Rs 821.25 apiece on the BSE.
