'Amelia' wins main race

Favourite, 'Amelia' ably ridden by A sandesh claimed The Deccan Bookmakers Fillies Championship Stakes, the chief event of Hyderabad Monsoon races held here today.

Winner was trained by Shroff. Trainer S Abbas and M S'vas Reddy scored a double each while Jockey P S Chouhan scored a treble.

Four first favourites obliged in a card of eight events.
