Amit Pilaniya to participate in Asian Airgun championship

Shooter Amit Kumar Pilaniya will take part in the seventh Asian Airgun Championship to be held at Kuwait from March 7 to 13.

Amit of Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy, has also been selected to take part in the Shooting World Cup, an official release here said.

He yesterday met state sports minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia, who congratulated him and conveyed his best wishes.

Amit has been selected to take part in the 10-metre air pistol category.
