"Such people lived for the society and took it as their duty, thereby setting a noble tradition ...all these five sarsangchalaks were so knowledgeable that even saints considered themselves small before them," Shah said.

"All these people did not live for themselves but for the organisation," he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said, "had it not been for the RSS, we would not have known about our national song Vande Mataram.
