The people became angry when they came to know that 18-year-old Azad Alvi had taken the girl of another community, hailing from Bhilangana block, to a hotel room in Ghansali, SSP Yogendra Singh Rawat said.
A protesting mob gathered at the hotel pulled the girl out of the room and beat up the man, he said.
