Former 'X-Files' star Annabeth Gish is set to join the cast of 'Sons of Anarchy'.
Gish, 43, has signed on to play the cunning new sheriff of Charming, reported Digital Spy.
Her character Althea Jarry finds herself having to work with the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, while also trying to catch the murderer of Sheriff Eli Roosevelt (Rockmond Dunbar).

Gish is slated to shoot her 'Sons of Anarchy' episodes in tandem with her other job as Charlotte Millwright in FX's 'The Bridge'.
It has also been announced that Marilyn Manson will guest star as a drug addict in an upcoming episode of 'Sons of Anarchy'.
The seventh season of 'Sons of Anarchy' begins later this year.
