Another Congressman to launch party

: A former Congress legislator will launch a political party, "Dravida Makkal Congress" here tomorrow.

A Congress MLA (Tiruvottiyur) between 1984-88, "Kuralarasu" K Jayabarathi confirmed that he will be launching the party along with "several other party members and functionaries," here tomorrow.

The 68-year old former MLA was previously a loyalist of former Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President K V Thangkabalu.

A senior Tamil Nadu Congress office-bearer described the move as of absolutely no consequence as he did not enjoy any support within and outside the party.
