Vice President M Hamid Ansari and his wife Salma Ansari today met the differently abled children from 'UMEED', a Vocational Training Centre run under the aegis of Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) here today.
The Vice President and Salma Ansari interacted with the children and wished them success in their future, Vice President's Secretariat said in a release.
The Centre was established on September 1, 2005 by AFWWA to empower the differently abled children with vocational training so as to make them contributing citizens of the society rather than being looked upon as a burden.
