City-based Ansio Marketplace Ltd Thursday unveiled a mobile application that would help people purchase groceries, fruits and vegetables through handsets.
Ansio Marketplace Ltd is engaged in retailing of groceries, home appliances and stationery products and recently conducted a pilot run of the mobile application-"ansio.in."
"We started a pilot project where we delivered fresh vegetables on a day-to-day basis on a small-scale (across Chennai). After the positive response from consumers, we decided to do this on a large-scale basis..," company CEO Ram Subramaniam said in a press release.
With the launch of the application, customers can purchase fruits, vegetables, home appliances and stationery products from the comfort of their homes, he said.
"To produce quality products at affordable prices, we source directly from the network of farms supplying fruits, vegetables and groceries. We also have dedicated R&D team," he said.
Computer Age Management Services founder V Shankar, formally launched the mobile application at an event held here recently, the release added.
