Anthony Hopkins in 'Kidnapping Freddy Heineken'

Veteran Hollywood star Anthony Hopkins will play Dutch businessman Alfred "Freddy" Heineken in the upcoming thriller "Kidnapping Freddy Heineken".
Alfred, the grandson of the founder of the Heineken brewery, and his driver were kidnapped in 1983 and released only after a ransom of 35 million Dutch guilders was paid, the largest ransom ever paid at the time.
The kidnappers were eventually caught and served prison terms.

Jim Sturgess, Sam Worthington and Ryan Kwanten are also part of the film being directed by Daniel Alfredson, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Alfredson is best known for his 2009 Swedish version of 'The Girl Who Played With Fire' and its sequel 'The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest'.
The screenplay is by William Brookfield and is based on a book about the case by Peter R de Vries.
