Arhar and its dal prices edged higher by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market today on increased demand from retailers.
However, other prices moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said scattered demand from retailers against tight supplies from producing regions mainly influenced arhar and its dal prices.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal prices traded higher by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,800-5,100 and Rs 6,200-6,500 per quintal, respectively.
