Arms factory unearthed

In a major haul, police have seized a huge quantity of ammunition after they unearthed an arms manufacturing factory at Kookri village in the district.

Three guns, four pistols, large number of arms which were in the process for manufacturing along with a manufacturing machine were seized last evening, SP (City) Sarvan Kumar told newsmen here today.

A woman Asha Devi was arrested while her husband Vedprakash escaped during the raids, Kumar said.
